A barn in the late 1800’s, a speakeasy through prohibition, and a nightlife institution. True to its form and function, The Improper Boston has rocked The Cape for the best of 60 years. The Improper brings you the legendary Jim Plunkett Happy Hour every Saturday afternoon throughout the summer. At night we bring a mix of the area’s best dj’s and live bands. Our back room has plenty of tv’s and pool tables for a more relaxed environment.
